My name is István Téli and I am working as OSS Engineer at Nokia Networks in Sydney, supporting Nokia NetAct Operations Support Systems for our customers. I am passionate about doing technical support and personally enjoy visiting our customers in different countries.

MY BRIEF BIO

I was born in Budapest, capital of Hungary. I studied and graduated in electronics, inspired by my father’s job, but quickly caught me the emerging and exiting computer technology in my first work place. Since then, I am a computer guy. The collapse of Comecon due to the dissolution of the Soviet Union, which was the main trade market of Hungary, bankrupted the company I worked for therefore I had to change my carrier path where I landed in telecommunication. I have planned many telecom networks on paper but, as a computer guy, I brought the computer into the process, of course. On this way, I became an Enterprise GIS Support Specialist Engineer owning a business. But I had to change carrier path again because the product that I was specialists of has been sold to the competitor and consequently it disappeared from the market. Yeah! 🙁 Since 2008, I have been working for Nokia Networks as a Technical Support Engineer in Lisbon, supporting Nokia NetAct OSS systems. I Moved to Sydney in 2015 where I continue supporting NetAct as OSS Engineer. I want to reach the level of expertise in OSS gaining the respect of colleagues and clients that I have enjoyed before. My strengths in this field is to identify, examine, improve and streamline complex systems and solve problems with innovative, workable solutions. I like to work on difficult or challenging cases.
